Joan A. Bellavance-Crowe died July 4, 2004, in Gilroy. She was 74.
Born in Auburn, Maine, she was a member of Women in Touch II of Gilroy and active in the local Elks Lodge. Her hobbies were ceramics and basket making. Spending time with her family, friends and her great-grandchildren was her greatest joy. She loved to travel, especially on cruises, which she did as often as she could.
Mrs. Bellavance-Crowe is survived by daughter Roxanne and her husband Steven Mayne of Morgan Hill; grandchilden Jeannette and her husband Nicholas Crawley of Georgia, William and his wife Tracey Mayne of San Jose, Steven Jr. and his wife Mary Mayne of Gilroy; great-grandchildren Joshua and Tyler Crawley of Georgia, Trevor and Madison Mayne of San Jose and Dean Mayne of Gilroy; sister Anita Desjardins of Auburn, Maine; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband William Crowe.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Aug. 28, 2004, at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy.
The family asks that any donations be made to the local Elks Lodge major projects fund.
