He was longtime resident of Morgan Hill, longtime member of the Morgan Hill American Legion and Lion’s Club and frequent visitor of the Morgan Hill Senior Center.
He was the loving husband of the late Bonnie Woolley Dean.
He is survived by stepson Raymond Woolley; brothers Bob Dean, Sam Dean and Tom Dean; sisters Mary Propst, Hazel Sledge, Leara Leasure and Jackie Dean.
He also was preceded in death by sisters Deanna Edwards and Norma Hofftizer.
Friends are invited to attend services. A viewing will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 19, at Johnson’s Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 20, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Morgan Hill. A viewing at the church from 10-11 a.m. will precede the service. Grave dedication will be at Mount Hope Cemetery.
