For younger children, there will be three Halloween-oriented storyimes.
On Oct. 30, the ever-popular Mrs. Readinghoffer will present Toddler Storytime (for ages 2-3) at 10 a.m. and Preschool Storytime (for ages 3-5) at 10:45.
Want to bring the whole family? Kids of all ages will enjoy Halloween Bedtime Stories on Oct. 29. Programs will include stories, music, and crafts. Kids are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes.
After storytime, browse through the children’s room and enjoy the Halloween decorations and displays. Check out a few scary stories or Halloween craft books, and continue the fun at home.
A display on the adult side of the library includes books, CD’s, and videos on Halloween, the Day of the Dead, and the autumn harvest. Halloween books provide ideas for costumes, decorations, recipes, and crafts.
Set the mood for Halloween festivities with some frightening tunes from a Halloween CD. Celebrating the Day of the Dead? An assortment of materials are available in both Spanish and English.
