George Uesugi

December 23, 1927 – June 7, 2018
George Uesugi, 90, passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at his home in Morgan Hill.
He was born in Mountain View to Kisaku and Mune Uesugi.
He attended Santa Clara High and graduated from Heart Mountain High School. After serving in the army, he began farming in Morgan Hill in 1946. He founded Uesugi Farms and was an avid fisherman. He resided in Morgan Hill for 70 years.
He is survived by his wife Veril, brother Ron (Etsuko), nieces, nephew and grandniece.
He is predeceased by two sisters.
A memorial service will be held at 12 noon on Friday, June 29, 2018 at Morgan Hill Buddhist Church Community Center 16450 Murphy Ave., Morgan Hill, CA 95037.
