Gary Nicholas Crispino passed away peacefully on April 12, 2017. He was born on July 22, 1961 in Gilroy, California to Nicholas Carl Crispino and Marie Domenica Nicassio.
Gary was a graduate gemologist who worked over 35 years with some of the finest auction galleries and jewelers in the field, including Butterfield & Butterfield, Gleim the Jeweler, Kerns of Burlingame, and most recently as Vice President and Director of Fine Jewelry at Clars Auction Gallery.
He was kind, fun loving, and a true gentleman who loved his family and friends. He had a strong work ethic, and worked at his familys delicatessen while growing up. In school, he enjoyed time with his friends and sports including swimming and water polo. He also loved music, painting, the outdoors, and sharing good food and drink with good company. He will be deeply missed. He graduated from Gilroy High School and the Gemological Institute of America.
He is survived by his sister Gina and her husband Don Delbruegge and sister Carla Crispino, niece Nicole Delbruegge, and nephews Rudy Sanchez and Michael Delbruegge.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and grandparents Nicholas and Marguarite Aliene Crispino. s

A memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 10 at 2:00pm at St. Mary Catholic Church, with burial to follow at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park on First Street, followed by a Celebration of Life at Westside Grill on Santa Teresa Blvd. in Gilroy.
