VALLEY CITY, N.D. (VCSU) – Former Sobrato football player Gustavo Ramirez was among eight players from Valley City State University to be named to the First Team All Conference for the North Star Athletic Association.
The announcement was made to the schools on Nov. 20.
Ramirez, who graduated from Sobrato in 2011, was also twice named to the All Coast Conference while playing for West Valley College.
He transferred to Valley City State, an NAIA school, this year.
VCSU, for which Ramirez plays offensive line, won the NSAA conference with a 2-1 record and went 5-5 overall.
Ramirez is a junior at VCSU and is majoring in exorcize science.
