Long time Hollister resident Eugene R. Carbone passed away peacefully at the age of 104 in his home May 22, 2012. Eugene was born in St. Paul, MN and moved to Hollister in 1933.
He was the president of Hollister Canning Co. for many years. He was also a member of the Hollister Elks for 71 years.
Our family feels very blessed to have shared so many healthy years with him. We would also like to thank Delinda Sandavol and her staff for the amazing care they gave him.
Eugene was the spouse of the late Raphela Carbone. He is survived by his son Paul Carbone (Henriette) daughter Marian Cruz (late Bob) His grandchildren Eugene Carbone, Jeannette Petersen (Joe), Robert, Valery, and Larry Cruz (Kauru) His great-grandchildren Antone Cruz, Brooklyn, Franchesca, and Weston Petersen, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A private inurnment will be held at Calvary Cemetery on Friday, June 1, 2012, at 11:00 A.M. Friends and family are invited to gather at The Elks Lodge in Hollister on Friday, June 1, 2012, at 12:00 P.M.
