On June 28, 2007, Ed was called home to the awaiting arms of loved ones gone before, who include his parents, brother Edward Geddie, sister Effie Geddie and his beloved wife and companion of 58 years, Louise Geddie. He leaves behind 3 sons; Jerry (Kathryn) of Tucson, Arizona, Larry (Diana) of Lincoln, CA and Roy (Sharon) of Gilroy, CA., as well as his sister Minnie Bonham of Los Gatos, CA.
He was blessed with 10 grandchildren, 24
great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
He was known to them as Papa and he adored them all.
Ed was born in Colfax, Texas where he grew up and later married Louise. He served in the Army and was a farmer by trade. In 1951 he moved his family to California where he was an Automotive Mechanic until his retirement in 1981.
He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
There will be a viewing at Habing Family Funeral Home, 129 Fourth Street, Gilroy, CA,on Sunday July 1, 2007 from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M.
