Dora Medwedeff, resident of Morgan Hill, peacefully passed away at Pacific Hills Manor. Prior to moving to California to be near her daughter, Dora was a long time resident of Houston, Texas. A University of Houston M.Ed. graduate, she taught grades kindergarten through junior high in her twenty plus years as an educator. After retirement as a teacher, Dora went on to establish Video Communication Productions, one of the nation’s earliest commercial video filming enterprises.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Pamela and Kevin Courtney, grandchildren and their spouses Guenevere and Malcolm De Brus, and Patrick and Sarah Courtney. Dora was overjoyed with the arrival of great grandson, Kevin William De Brus.
She is also survived by her loving brother Marion Medwedeff (Shirley), sister Mary Catherine Bond (Jonathan), and sister-in-law Dorothy Medwedeff.
Dora was revered as “Aunt Tica” by her fifteen nieces and nephews and their children.
She enjoyed the company of many dear friends. Dora lived her life to the fullest, enjoyed every minute of it and would want to thank everyone who took the journey with her. She was loved by all who knew her and will always be in their hearts. There will be a private memorial service.
