David was very active in the local theater community and participated in many plays/musicals – mostly with the San Benito Stage Company and some with the Gavilan College theater group. In his childlike manner, David loved life, had many friends — many from the theater company and the church he began attending regularly, Grace Bible Church in Hollister. He was always happy and was very considerate of others.. He was always ready and willing to spend time with his niece and nephews – whether it was Playstation games or watching funny movies. He loved going to the movies and to the gym, attending the Rotary Monday night football games, and was devoted to his family and friends – creating nicknames for many of them. He also loved and took extremely good care of his pets.

David enjoyed working at MC Electronics in Hollister. Previous to that, he had worked for Quail Industries in Hollister, his family’s business, and had held several other jobs. David attended Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo, CA and Foothill College in Los Altos, CA, where he took many theater and television production classes.

The memorial service will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 11 at 12 noon at Grace Bible Church, 634 Monterey St. in Hollister (831-638-1394). For family and friends who are interested, a donation can be made out to “San Benito Stage Company” for use by the theater company for needed funding or for a scholarship program, and mailed to the company, in care of Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home, 870 San Benito St., Hollister, CA 95023.
