On Wednesday, the Community Alliance with Family Farmers (CAFF) and the Santa Clara County Farm Bureau hosted a mixer at Andy’s Orchard in Morgan Hill for farmers to connect with buyers. The mixer was attended by dozens of local farmers and ranchers, restaurants, distributors, school districts, and others. The event was part of CAFF’s Buy Fresh Buy Local campaign and it provided an opportunity for local farmers and ranchers to connect with local buyers so that more locally grown produce is consumed locally.
