Clifford Russell Havens passed from this world August 28, 2012, in Gilroy, CA. Cliff, or Papa as he was known to all who loved him, touched many lives with his humor, warmth and integrity.
An Air Force Veteran and San Jose State College graduate, Cliff was a retired IBM Manager. Born June 30, 1931 in a small farmhouse on the shores of Lake Miltona in Douglass County, Minnesota, Cliff built his life and grew his family in the Santa Clara Valley which he loved.
He is survived by his loving wife Ina Havens, his brother Charles Havens, his children John Havens, Deborah Havens Rollins, Cynthia Morsilli, his grandchildren Bonnie Redd, Jessica Padgett, Laura Rollins, Mary Rollins, Christopher Morsilli, Deena Morsilli, and great-grandchildren Marie and Ella Redd.
A celebration of Cliff’s life will be held September 15, 2012, at 11:00A.M., at Eagle Ridge Golf Course in Gilroy.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to a memorial fund in Cliff’s name that has been established at First Tee of Silicon Valley.
