Live Oak hockey pulls out another victory

The Live Oak High club hockey team beat Lincoln 9-2 on Friday. Again, it was Live Oak’s talent and exceptional teamwork that kept the opposition from executing.

Senior Matt Edgar and junior Ricky Lasher teamed up to make some key plays for the game, which kept Lincoln out of scoring position.

Also solid on defense were sophmores Conner Williamson and Scott Alexander, who each added a goal and a couple of assists.

Protecting the net, senior goalie Michael Anvari continues to make a remarkable contribution to the teams success.

With many key saves for Live Oak and a strong defense, Anvari’s speed and precision has helped him earn the best goalie record in the division so far.

Also scoring for Live Oak was junior Chase Norman, who after being gone the last few games came back and added two goals and an assist.
