Adult Golf at Eagle Ridge

Learn one of the fastest growing sports in America … golf. During this five-week program that runs from Feb. 25 to March 25, golf professional Scott Krause will teach golf techniques from putting to the full swing. This class fills up fast. Register early. Mt. Madonna YMCA Youth Soccer

The Mt. Madonna YMCA is now accepting registration for 2006 youth soccer ages 2-10. The season runs from April 8th-June 3rd.The fee is $45-100 per player depending on age group. Financial assistance is available upon approval. We are also always looking for volunteer coaches and referees. Bulldog Easter Basketball Camp

The Sobrato Bulldogs are holding an Easter Basketball Camp April 19th, 20th, 21st from 8am-12pm. Boys and girls 4-14 years of age are invited to attend at Sobrato High School. SCBA Youth Basketball Begins

The spring SCBA youth basketball program begins Saturday March 11. The cost is $85.00 for a returning player with a jersey or $105.00 for a player needing a new jersey. The skills clinic will be held on March 11, team building on March 18 and games begin March 25.

Ten Star All Star Basketball Camp

Applications are now being evaluated for the Ten Star All Star Summer Basketball Camp. The camp is by invitation only. Boys and girls ages 10-19 are eligible to apply. Past participants include Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan and Vince Carter. College basketball scholarships are possible for players selected to the All-American team. Live Oak Baseball Golf Tournament

The 3rd Annual Live Oak Baseball Golf Tournament will be held on Friday, April 14 at the Gilroy Golf Course. Registration starts at 11:30am. Fee of $85 includes green fees, cart, beverages, tee prizes, contest prizes and dinner. Dinner only $20.

Live Oak Summer Sports Camps

Live Oak High School will be hosting summer sports camps. There will be three all-sports camps, beginning and advanced ceramics and specialty instructional mini camps in baseball and pitching, softball, field hockey, intermediate and advanced boys and girls basketball, diving, beginning and intermediate tennis, intermediate and advanced volleyball, beginning and intermediate golf, lacrosse and rugby (touch-non-contact). The all-sports camps will introduce fundamentals and skills of many sports.

All camps will also cover other important topics such as attitude, sportsmanship, good nutrition and the importance of good study habits and grades. Camps run from the middle of June until early August. Each participant must complete and application and submit a non-refundable deposit of $25 for each camp. Live Oak Softball Fundraiser

Live Oak Softball has scheduled a fundraiser night at Sinaloa. Please mark your calenders and tell everyone you know to go to Sinaloa Mexican Restaurant on Monterey Road in Morgan Hill on Wednesday, March 22nd from 4:00pm-9:00pm. Sinaloas will be giving the softball program a percentage of the evening’s receipts. You must have them mention Live Oak Softball when ordering. Spread the word! Mt. Madonna YMCA Seeks Referees

Mt. Madonna YMCA is currently looking for volunteer soccer referees. We’re looking for people who are interested in working with kids and helping them learn the game of soccer. This is a non-paid position for ages 16 and over.
