There is one individual that refused to accept the word no as an answer during the spring and summer sessions where budgets were being reduced and program after program was up for cuts or being dropped completely.

I’m speaking of Glen Webb. Mr. Webb and I have never met but in listening to his speeches and his never giving in to the “system” we have seen the turnaround in our children’s fall sports programs.

Small victory? I don’t thinks so. There is a direct correlation to sports and our kids’ well being. What the system needs is more people like Mr. Webb who truly care about the children first and the system second.

Hats off to Mr. Webb.
