Charles F. Marcus passed away in Gilroy. He was born in Hollister and was a lifetime resident. He served his country honorably in WWII in the US Navy. A past member of Hollister Elks Lodge and was a rancher all of his life. He was preceded in death by his wife, Harriet, who died in 1994.

He is survived by his children and their spouses, Shirley Marcus of Sacramento, Mari-Lu and Derald Langwell of Rancho Cordova, Chuck and Laurie Marcus of Hollister and Joe and Cammie Marcus of Hollister, his grandchildren, Blake Marcus of Sonora and Daniel Langwell and his wife, Destiny, of Germany and his great-granddaughter, Krystal Langwell and his in-laws, Juanita Marcus of Hollister, Carolina Marcus of Hollister, Dorothy and Earl Johnson of Modesto and Russell and Sylvia Chandler of Aptos and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his sister and brothers, Dorothy Bardin, Bob Marcus and Donald Marcus.

Friends can pay their respects on Thursday, April 26th from 12:00 noon until 8:00 P.M. at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 27th at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Interment will follow the services at the IOOF Cemetery.

Donations are preferred to The National Multiple Sclerosis Society or The American Cancer Society, c/o the funeral home.
