“Adopt-A-Stop.”
Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) is looking for community oriented residents and businesses to “Adopt-A-Stop.” It’s simple: at a designated bus stop, VTA Adopt-A-Stop participants agree to pick up litter and empty the trash receptacle. Adopters also agree to notify VTA about graffiti or other concerns with their adopted stop. VTA will install a sign at that stop recognizing the program participant.

Everyone benefits when residents and businesses Adopt-A-Stop. Keeping the environment clean takes the cooperation the entire community. VTA has nearly 4,500 opportunities to Adopt-A-Stop. There is no cost and a family, business, scouting, sports or church group can make the community a better place. Details: 321-7577.
