South County Cal-SOAP (Student Opportunity and Access Program) and GAVILAN COMMUNITY COLLEGE are inviting seniors and their parents to attend “Cash for College” workshops at 6pm tonight at Sobrato High School and at 6pm, Feb. 27 at Anzar High School, 2000 San Juan Highway, in San Juan Bautista; and at 6pm Feb. 28 at Gilroy High School, 750 West 10th St.
Families will learn about the financial-aid process, including grants, loans, work-study and scholarships. Students will receive assistance completing their free application for the Federal Application For Student Aid (FAFSA) form.
“We sincerely appreciate the continued support from our local school districts and from our higher education partners, Gavilan College, CSUMB, UC Santa Cruz, and National University. We look forward to working with you at each of these events,” said Erin C.
