San Martin – The second annual “Happy Days” Custom and Classic Car Show is refurbished and ready for crowds on Saturday.

The public can expect to see about 100 classic and street rod cars at the event, designed to benefit the San Martin Neighborhood Alliance’s efforts to incorporate the area into an independent city.

A few changes were made this year to make the fundraiser even more successful. The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. to avoid problems they had last year with lighting the park after dark. They have also hired JJ Hawg Band, a blues and blues rock band, to perform from 2-6pm.

As car lovers admire the classic beauties, they will be able to vote for the people’s choice awards.

San Martin Country Park is located on Monterey Road, just south of the Christmas Tree Farm. Admission is $5 per person.
