Gilroy Garlic Festival

The Gilroy Garlic Festival Association presents the 29th annual Gilroy Garlic Festival, 10am-7pm, July 27-29 at Christmas Hill Park, 7050 Miller Ave., Gilroy. Food, beverages, arts, crafts and live entertainment. Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for seniors 60 years of age and older and children 6-12 years of age. Children under 6 are free. Friday Night Music Series

AARP Safe Driving Class

AARP holds one-day refresher courses for drivers 50 years of age and older. Driver safety and new laws will be covered. Class is free and there is a minimal fee for a three-year DMV certificate for discounts on auto insurance. AARP membership not required. Call between 1pm and 6pm for time and location of next class.
