Last year’s 2004 7th grade basketball team went undefeated 22-0.
They have returned as 8th graders to see if they can repeat that
historical event. The 2005 Britton Bobcat s 8th grade team is on
the right pace as they have won all six of their preseason
games.

Last weekend they went 5-0 to win the 2005 Sacred Heart School Holiday Basketball Tournament. This event featured 16 area schools, primarily private, which included Valley Christian.
The Bobcats defeated Bowdich 42-33, Taylor 31-29, Resurrection 45-19, Central 41-31 and St. Simon 67-55 to sweep through the tournament.
The real story about this team is Morgan Hill’s new high school, Sobrato. Before Sobrato was in the picture probably 11 out of the 13 players would all move on to the same high school to continue their run. Now with two high schools in Morgan Hill, as well as the private schools in play, the team is sure to fracture.
