Bonnie Panelli was born in Missouri in 1920 to Arcie and Rosa Yockey. Bonnie passed away after a brief illness in Palm Springs, California, on May 17, 2007. She was 87 years old.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Michael Panelli of Salinas, and her son Gary Resetar of Washington State. Bonnie leaves behind her children; William Colburn of Hollister, Robert Resetar and partner Scott Barkley of Los Angeles, Denise Resetar Mata and husband Gilbert Mata of Los Angeles, daughter-in-law Ardis Fureby of Washington State, sister June Hartman of Lodi, Morris Yockey of Seal Beach, Roger Yockey of Long Beach, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Bonnie grew up in Hollister, California and spent most of her adult life in Watsonville and Salinas, California. In Salinas she owned and operated a beauty salon and a clothing store. She was active in the Lawyer’s Wives, Monterey County Cancer Society, and the California Republican Party.

Bonnie will be laid to rest at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Cathedral City, located at 69855 Ramon Rd. A memorial service will be held at Forest Lawn’s Ramon Chapel at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 26.
