Betty Eileen Headrick August 15, 1924 – March 5, 2017

With sad hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Betty Eileen Headrick on March 5, 2017.
Betty was born on August 15, 1924 to Ellen and Bert Hooper in Colchester, England. She met our father, John Paul (Jack) Headrick, a young GI stationed near her hometown, during WWII. After the war, Betty joined Jack in California and they were wed on January 11, 1947 at All Saints Catholic Church in Hayward, where they lived for many years and raised four children.
Betty was predeceased by her beloved Jack on October 12, 1974 and her only son, Michael John, on October 19, 2012. She is survived by her daughters Patricia Wolfe (Danny), Kathleen Donaldson (David), and Maureen Harris (King), as well as six grandchildren: Shauna Kodai (Scott), John Wolfe (Jackie), Chris Wolfe, Michael Wolfe (Rebeca), Tierney Piotter (Daniel), and Jennifer Russitano (Sal). She is also survived by four great grand-daughters Lauren, Jessie and Robyn Kodai and Kylee Donaldson.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 18 at Holy Angels Funeral Center at 1051 Harder Road, Hayward 94542.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 am with the service following at 11:00 am. Burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery will follow.
