Albert passed away on Wednesday, October 10th, 2012, after suffering a stroke. He grew up in Marysville and later at the I.O.O.F. Home in Gilroy, CA with his two brothers Malcolm and Leslie, and his sister Norma.

During WWII, Albert flew Martin B26 bombers in North Africa and Europe. After the war he moved to Santa Rosa with his wife June.

Albert remained an active pilot for years, helping put on the Sonoma County Air Shows for several years and was chairman of the airport advisory committee when the existing tower was built.

Albert worked for Mead Clark Lumber Co. in the 1950’s and then started his own store, Kaiser Hardware in 1962. Later, he dropped the hardware and started Kaisers Sports, selling bicycles, snow skis, and swimming pools. Albert worked hard to bring bicycle racing to the Santa Rosa area in the late 1960’s.

By 1975, Albert moved back to Gilroy. In 1990 he married Jean Sondeno. Together they moved to Brentwood in retirement.

In addition to his wife Jean, he leaves his three daughters Karen Kelley, Elaine Mills, and Barbara Roach, and twin sons Richard Kaiser and Steven Kaiser. He also leaves six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
