National Library Week, April 6-12, is a time to “Celebrate @ your library” and rediscover all that our nation’s libraries and librarians have to offer.
“Libraries are part of the American dream, “ says Nancy Howe, Acting Community Librarian for the Morgan Hill Library. “Whether you are checking out the latest mystery from our special bestseller collection funded by the Friends of the Morgan Hill Library, researching a term paper, getting homework help, looking for a video, DVD, or CD, or using the Internet, the library has the resources and staff to help you find what you are looking for.”
This year, Morgan Hill Library joins with the American Library Association and libraries across the country in encouraging our users to learn more about the exciting range of new and traditional resources available.
The Morgan Hill Library also will highlight the vital role of librarians – the ultimate search engines. Free tutorials are available by appointment for those just getting started in using the Internet. To schedule, please contact the Library’s reference department.
National Library Week is a great time to see what’s new at your public library and how your librarian can direct you to the information you need when you need it.
