Battery: A Live Oak High student reported she was sexually harassed by another student during a photography class in the darkroom. The student told police she slapped the other student’s hand away. The report was taken at 3:23 p.m. on Oct. 27.

Auto burglary: A resident of the Acacia Mobile Home Park reported someone broke the back window of a Ford Econoline and stole several items. The resident also said the “same type of incident” occurred last week but wasn’t reported; the items stolen then were drain machines valued at $1,200. The report was taken on Oct. 27 at 7:21 a.m.

• Someone staying at the Rancho Motel reported the tires on her locked Oldsmobile were slashed and the windows were shattered overnight. A camcorder was stolen from the vehicle. She told police a restraining order was issued the night before to her ex-husband, and she thinks this incident was retaliation. The report was taken at 8:16 a.m. on Oct. 27.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported her purse was taken from her unlocked vehicle while it was parked at Vineyard Town Center. The purse contained credit cards and identification. The report was taken on Oct. 29 at 3:55 p.m.

Rape: A Morgan Hill resident reported she was sexually assaulted by someone she knows. She went to Kaiser Santa Teresa for examination. The report was taken on Oct. 27 at 7 p.m.

Threats: An insurance salesman who works at home reported a customer left a threatening message on his answering machine, saying he was “going to get a fork and go looking for him and when he finds him he will deal with him.” The report was taken on Oct. 28 at 9:14 a.m.

Burglary: The owner of the Morgan Hill Barber Shop reported he left his business for a few minutes and when he returned $60 was missing from the counter. The owner told police he suspected a couple of juveniles that were “hanging around” the business. The incident occurred the afternoon before he reported it. The report was taken at 8:58 a.m. on Oct. 29.

Vandalism: Commonweath Central Credit reported one of the ATM’s was vandalized overnight. The keypad was punched in. The report was taken on Oct. 27 at 9:27 a.m.

• A resident of the Del Monte Village Townhomes reported 10 cars were vandalized with spray paint overnight. The report was taken at 6:02 a.m. on Oct. 28. Another resident reported the same incident at 6:34 a.m., and another at 8:09 a.m.

• All Parts Auto Store reported a window on one of the delivery vans was broken overnight. The report was taken at 8:11 a.m. on Oct. 28.

• A construction site on Marianna Court was vandalized overnight. The construction equipment was “tagged,” along with the construction trailer and some of the houses under construction. The report was taken on Oct. 28 at 8:46 a.m.

Grand theft: A Morgan Hill resident reported his bike and the bike belonging to his friend were stolen while they were parked at the library. The bikes were not locked. The report was taken at 7:52 p.m. on Oct. 28.

Petty theft: A resident of Archfield Court reported a gas weed whacker and a gas generator were stolen from the back of the resident’s truck overnight. The report was taken at 5:34 a.m. on Oct. 27.

• Mezza Luna restaurant reported five people who had a bill for $95 only paid $45. The report was taken on Oct. 28 at 9:03 p.m.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported his boat was parked at the back of the building and someone stole the stereo, two speaker boxes and an amplifier overnight. The report was taken at 1:50 p.m. on Oct. 29.
