Residents are invited to attend public forums to learn about and
discuss a possible bond measure to improve and expand Gavilan
College facilities. A member of the Board of Trustees will chair
each meeting, assisted by Gavilan College President Steve
Kinsella.
Residents are invited to attend public forums to learn about and discuss a possible bond measure to improve and expand Gavilan College facilities. A member of the Board of Trustees will chair each meeting, assisted by Gavilan College President Steve Kinsella.
The forums will include a brief presentation, followed by a question-and-answer period and informal discussion. Each forum will include an introduction of the bond measure, project list and description of projects, the need to request local funding and financial information about the proposed bond.
Meetings are: Hollister: at 7 tonight, at City Council Chambers, 375 Fifth St.; Morgan Hill: Tuesday, Oct. 14 at 7 p.m. (This will take place during the “public comments” section of the regularly scheduled board meeting), at the Morgan Hill School District Offices.
The purpose of the forums is to give the public an opportunity to learn more about Gavilan College, including facilities needs, and plans for the future, and to share their ideas and opinions with college officials.
