She enjoyed bowling, roller skating, gardening, teaching, and animals of all kinds. One could find her whistling to the birds outside of her kitchen window and taking in stray kittens. She was an accomplished seamstress and made afgahns and quilts which she passed down to her sons and grandchildren. She loved being a mother and looking after others. She mothered each child she met at school and her home was open to anyone who needed a place to stay. She was generous with anything she had and loved to help and serve others. Her greatest joy was to see her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her. We all take comfort in the fact that we know she is in the loving arms of her mother, father, and our Savior, Jesus Christ.
