Bobbie Lorraine Reyes, age 71, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on November 22, 2017.
She was born October 14, 1946 in Dallas, Texas to Arthur and Mary Terry. She lived there until the age of six, when her parents decided to move to East Wenatchee, WA.
Soon after the passing of her father, when she was twelve, the family moved to Anaheim, CA. Bobbie continued to live in Southern CA until 1981, when she and her husband Simon moved their family to Morgan Hill, CA. Bobbie began her remarkable career with the State of California in 1968 as a Secretary with the Department of Consumer Affairs. Throughout her career she worked in a variety of different departments and positions and after 35 years of service for the State of California, she retired as a Hearing Officer for the Labor Commissioners Office.
Bobbie was an active member of Southridge Church in San Jose. She lead women’s bible studies, loved to sing in the choir, and up until she could helped in the nursery. Bobbie was a very loving, kind, compassionate person who will be missed greatly by many friends and family.
Preceded in death by her husband Simon D. Reyes.
She is survived by her sons Kevin Reyes and Eric Reyes and daughter Christina Reiman, her grandchildren Kodi Reyes and Mateo Reiman, her sister Mary Alice Miller and her brothers Lee Terry and Gene Terry and her godchildren Alexis Rossette and Carmelo Rossette.
