All Santa Clara County Library District libraries, including the Morgan Hill library, will be closed for building and technical upgrades on Wednesday, Aug. 3 and Thursday, Aug. 4, according to library officials.
Libraries will reopen Friday, Aug. 5, beginning at 10 a.m.
Automated returns will be offline for system upgrades from Sunday, July 31 at 6 p.m. through the morning of Thursday, Aug. 4. During this time, materials can be returned in the manual book drop. Receipts are unavailable until the morning of Thursday, Aug. 4.
Library account and other online resources will be unavailable from Sunday, July 31 at 6 p.m. through the morning of Thursday, Aug. 4. Patrons that have received a courtesy due-date reminder notice this week will be able to access their accounts to renew items beginning this Thursday morning. No items are due Aug. 1-4, and no additional fines will be charged for these days.
Libraries will be open on Monday, Aug. 1 and Tuesday, Aug. 2. Partial services will be available these days. Catalog, Internet, and Wi-Fi will be available. Catalog data will not be current. Library materials can be checked out from the libraries as normal on Aug. 1-2.
Morgan Hill Library’s regular hours are 1-9 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and 10 am. to 6 p.m. Thursday through Saturday. The library is located at 660 W. Main Ave.
The library offers downloadable E-Books and Digital Audiobooks from the providers: OverDrive, Recorded Books, and 3M.
• From July 29 at 12 noon through Aug. 4, existing users can access OverDrive E-Books as normal. E-Books can be checked out and downloaded as normal. Persons that have not used this service in the past will gain access beginning Aug. 5.
• From July 31 at 6 p.m. through Aug. 4, existing users can access Recorded Books One Click Digital Audiobooks as normal. Audiobooks can be checked out and downloaded as normal. Persons that have not used this service in the past will gain access beginning Aug. 5.
• Persons may continue to use 3M Cloud Library E-Books with no change to normal service.
