Dora Ann Bocanegra passed away suddenly, on February 27th, 2016, in Reno, NV. Born and raised in Hollister to Cruz R. Bocanegra and Julia A. Bocanegra, who preceded her in death.
She worked many years as a healthcare provider and lived the past several years in Alturas, CA where she was proud to have owned her own home.
She is survived by her children, Naomi Telkamp (Daniel DJ) of Klamath Falls, OR, Sabino Bocanegra, of Arcata, CA, Lucas Bocanegra of Klamath Falls, OR, and Quentin Bocanegra of Alturas, CA. She also leaves a grandchild, Katarena Telkamp of Klamath, OR. Siblings: Cruz Bocanegra, John Bocanegra (Virgie), Emily Villalon, Gloria Braun, Vera Powers (Wayne), David Bocanegra (Georgina), Sylvia Gleason, Marcie, Jesse, Angela, and Amber Bocanegra.
Her children and granddaughter were her pride and joy and she also loved her pets, especially Little Man.
She was loved very much and will be missed deeply. Dora will always hold a special place in our hearts and we will remember her for being a big hearted, loud laughing, positive person who made friends everywhere she went.
