Services for Allen were held August 17, 2013, at Oak Hill Cemetery and included a Navy Honor Guard.
 Allen Dwight Vincent passed away peacefully on August 11, 2013, in Gilroy, CA surrounded by Dolores, his cherished wife of 64 years and his loving family.
 Allen was born December 22, 1924 in Omaha, Nebraska to Allen Hayes Vincent and Edna Genevieve Goodwin Vincent.
 Allen grew up in Turlock, CA and graduated from Turlock Union High School. Allen enlisted in the U.S. Navy and proudly served his country during World War II.
 Upon returning home from military service he married the love of his life, Dolores Beverly LaTendresse in 1949.
 Allen and Dolores lived in San Francisco, CA. Allen joined Shasta where he was employed for 30 years. Allen and Dolores have three daughters, Sandra Vincent, Barbara Vincent and Debra McGrady. They moved to Belmont, CA and then Sunnyvale, CA where they lived for over 30 years.
 Allen enjoyed cars, golf, football and family gatherings. He loved spending time with his daughters, son-in-law Patrick McGrady, grandchildren Ryan, Megan, Mandy and Mallory McGrady as well as his dog Louie.
 After retirement Allen and Dolores moved to Morgan Hill, CA and subsequently Gilroy, CA to be closer to their grandchildren. Allen enjoyed working at Longs, volunteering at St. Joseph’s Family Center and assisting Patrick with the Gilroy Brown’s Football team. Allen was also a member of the Gilroy Presbyterian Church where he served as a Deacon.
 The family would like to thank Hospice of the Valley and Village Green of Gilroy for their care and support.
