Elks Lodge Fashion Show

The Gilroy Elks Lodge presents its annual fashion show featuring fashions and accessories from local boutiques and stores. No-host cocktails at 11am, luncheon at noon and fashion show 1-2:30pm at the Elks Lodge, 2765 Hecker Pass Hwy., Gilroy. Tickets are $25 per person. Proceeds help children with disabilities.

Wildflower Hike

Ranger Crockett, of Coyote Lake-Harvey Bear Ranch County Park, leads a three-part hike to explore one of the best wildflower parks in central California, 9am-noon today, March 24 and April 28. Hiking shoes, warm clothing, sunscreen, hat, water and lunch are recommended. Program is free. There is a $5 per car parking fee.

Fine Art Show

Poster Contest

Morgan Hill students are invited to enter the city’s ninth annual Poster Design Contest. Students can choose from two themes: “Use Less Water” or “Recycle That Paper.” Students have a chance to win $100, a signed certificate from Morgan Hill Mayor Steve Tate and have their poster used to promote water conservation and paper recycling. Entries due at City Hall by 5pm, April 9.
