Batad and Pullen hooked up on a defensive gem for the Yankees when Batad fired a throw to Pullen at home to cut down a runner trying to score.

indians 7, marlins 5

The Indians took an early lead and rallied back after the Marlins tied it up and earned a 7-5 win in Bronco Division play.

But the Marlins fought back. Jim Hagan led off the top of the secnd with a single and Isaac Allen later singled to drive him in.

The Marlins closed the gap in the third when Hagan tripled and Conor Havstad delivered an RBI grounder and they tied the game in the fourth on a two-run grounder, from Brenden Stocksick.

The Indians struck back in the fourth. Kody Root led off with a double and thanks to some aggressive baserunning and an error, two runs came across the plate in the inning to make it 6-4.

Another run in the bottom of the fifth gave the Indians a three-run lead, and they held on for the win.
