The Dodgers scored in every odd inning and defeated the Athletics 8-2 in Morgan Hill Pony Baseball Bronco Division action.
Kyle Kinsey led off with a double and scored on a single by Sean Schlaefli. Derek Rousseu singled in Schlaefli for a 2-0 first-inning lead.
In the third, Schlaefli and Sean Aitken singled and Ben Hartl and Aaron Armijo doubled to score three runs and give the Dodgers a 5-0 lead. Two innings later, Hartl singled, stole second, advanced to third on an error and scored on a passed ball.
The A’s found the scoreboard in the sixth inning when Andrew Bueno singled in Pyle to trim the lead to 6-1. The Dodgers’ Schlaefli and Hartl scored on Armijo’s single in the seventh inning for an 8-1 lead. Dylan Kral scored the A’s final run after he walked and scored on an errant pickoff attempt at first base.
