LCAP Regional Community Meetings
The Morgan Hill Unified School District is seeking input form all interested community stakeholders regarding the district’s Local Control and Accountability Plan with two scheduled meetings:
– March 18 at 6 p.m. inside the multipurpose room at Los Paseos Elementary School
– April 7 at 6 p.m. inside the cafeteria at El Toro Elementary School
The LCAP is a component of the Local Control Funding Formula, which increases funding for all districts with additional resources for low-income and English language learners. The LCFF gives local districts more options on how to best use their funds, rather than restricting the funds, district officials said.
Under the LCAP, set to begin July 1, districts must come up with a three-year plan, which will be updated annually and outlines how they intend to meet annual goals for all students.
