• A resident of Peak Avenue reported the back window of her PT Cruiser was shattered. The report was taken at 2:49pm on July 12.

• A resident of the Crest Avenue Apartments reported the side window of his truck was broken. The report was taken at 4:02 p.m. on July 23.

• Live Oak High School on East Main Avenue reported someone “tagged” a vehicle in the agricultural area and one of the animals with black spray paint. The report was taken on July 26 at 7:23 a.m.

• A resident of Sierra Morena Court reported someone made a small hole in her bedroom window. The residence was not entered, so she thinks it may be retaliation from her ex-boyfriend. The report was taken at 9:58 a.m. on July 28.

• A resident of Berry Court reported both front windows of her residence were shattered. The report was taken at 10:27pm on July 2.

• Tina Marie Gonzales, 32, of 140 W. Dunne Ave., Morgan Hill, at 6:30pm Aug. 4 on Church Avenue at Murphy Avenue in San Martin, on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, a felony, being under the influence of a controlled substance and driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, misdemeanors, and driving without proof of vehicle insurance, an infraction.

• A 15-year-old Gilroy girl, at 3:10pm Aug. 4 on Marcella Avenue at Las Animas Avenue, on suspicion of auto theft and possession of stolen property, felonies, and driving without a license, a misdemeanor.

n John Wickler, 53, of Merced, at 11:41pm Aug. 3 at the intersection of state highways 152 and 156, on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.

• Denise Ann Brown, of 3355 Cañada Road, Gilroy, at 10:49pm Aug. 3 on Coyote Creek Golf Drive, west of U.S. 101, on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.

• Troy Moulton, 42, of San Jose, at 3:29pm Aug. 2 on northbound U.S. 101 north of Sixth Street in Gilroy, on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance, a felony, and being under the influence of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.

• Jose Ignacio-Sanchez Zarate, 29, of 601 Mission Vineyard Dr., San Juan Bautista, at 2:10am Aug. 2 on northbound U.S. 101 north of Sixth Street in Gilroy, on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.

• Cathy Michael, 47, of 1550 Cushman St. in Hollister, at 2:53am Thursday, Aug. 12, at Bixby Road on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

• Rigoberto Valdez, 49, of 324 Cross Ave., in Salinas, at 9:11pm Tuesday, Aug. 10, at U.S. Highway 101 and Monterey Road on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.

Forgery

• Esther Marie Garza, 37, of Watsonville, at 11:12am Aug. 13 on Hecker Pass Highway west of Pole Line Road, on suspicion of forgery, a felony – she had a counterfeit $20 bill – and DUI.

Driving under the influence of alcohol

•Alicia Irene Mechikoff, 40, of Tempe, Ariz., at 4:38pm Aug. 13, on suspicion of DUI after driving her car into a fence on Day Road at Geri Lane.

• Patricia Gayle Hussey, 49, of 16310 Jackson Oaks Drive, Morgan Hill, following a two-vehicle collision at 5:20pm Aug. 13 on southbound U.S. Highway 101, on suspicion of DUI causing injury, a felony. Hussy reportedly drove her 1998 Honda Accord off the right side of the road at 5:20pm just north of Coyote Creek Golf Drive, hit a sign, turned back left and crossed lanes of traffic into the path of a 1999 Ford Windstar minivan driven by Arturo Zepeda, 48, of San Jose. Zepeda complained of pain to his entire body, and an ambulance took him to San Jose Medical Center. Four female passengers in the minivan – aged 62, 32, 10 and 7 – were unhurt.

• Rakesh H. Panchal, 29, of Los Banos, at 10:06pm Aug. 13, on suspicion of DUI after crashing a 2005 Nissan Altima into a utility pole on eastbound Pacheco Pass Highway east of Bloomfield Avenue. CHP officers closed the eastbound highway lane for an hour and 35 minutes while downed wires and the vehicle were removed.

•Jason Daniel Vernedelt, 27, of San Jose, at 2:22am Aug. 14 on Burnell Road east of Santa Teresa Boulevard, on suspicion of DUI and driving without insurance.

• Julio Guevara, 36, of Morgan Hill, at 11:02pm Aug. 14 on northbound U.S. 101 south of Tennant Avenue, on suspicion of DUI and possessing an open container of alcohol in a vehicle.

• Nicholas Lopez, 20, of San Jose, at 12:50am Aug. 15 on westbound Tenth Street at U.S. 101, Gilroy, on suspicion of DUI and driving without a license.

• Raon Huaracha Jr., 28, of San Jose, at 5:15am Aug. 15 on Pacheco Pass Highway west of Dinosaur Point, on suspicion of DUI.

• Ron Craig Baganha, 42, of Los Banos, at 4:10pm Aug. 15 on eastbound Pacheco Pass Highway west of state Highway, on suspicion of DUI, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, driving without a license and driving without insurance.

• Oscar Gomez, 30, of Watsonville, at 10:15pm Aug. 15 on westbound Hecker Pass Highway west of Whitehurst Road, on suspicion of DUI.

•Silverio Lopez Perez, 31, of Watsonville, at 9:18pm Aug. 16 at Tenth and Alexander streets, Gilroy, on suspicion of DUi and driving with a suspended license.
