Robbery: A Morgan Hill resident was robbed in front of the Community Towing garage by two suspects with a knife. The suspects took $75 from the victim The report was taken on April 14 at 5:30 p.m.

Tampering with a vehicle: A resident of the 600 block of Claremont Drive reported the rear plate was stolen from her Ford Explorer overnight. The report was taken on April 14 at 6:47 a.m.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported while he was in the Cinema 6 theaters, someone siphoned gas from his Chevy Blazer and poured gas on the Blazer. The report was taken at 11:04 p.m. on April 17.

• A guest at the Best Western Country Inn reported his vehicle was “stripped” while in the back parking lot. The back window was stolen, the turn signals, the engine cover and other items were stolen, and the top was slit with a knife. The report was taken on April 18 at 3:01 a.m.

Grand theft: Centurian Surplus, Inc. reported a fence at the business was cut, and pumps and motors were stolen. The report was taken on April 14 at 2:22 p.m.

• A gas scooter was stolen from the staff parking lot at Live Oak High. The scooter had been chained to a fence post. The report was taken at 3:06 p.m. on April 20.

• A resident of the 500 block of Claremont Drive reported his children’s bicycles were stolen from the side yard of the residence. The report was taken on April 20 at 6:18 p.m.

Identity theft: A resident of Shadowlane Court reported her identification was stolen at San Diego State University and used in Palo Alto. The report was taken on April 14 at 9:11 p.m.

Auto burglary: A Morgan Hill resident reported his cell phone was stolen from his unlocked vehicle while it was at the Chevron gas station. The report was taken on April 15 at 2:28 p.m.

• A resident of El Toro Avenue reported a CD player was stolen from her Acura Intera overnight. One window was broken. The report was taken at 9:25 a.m. on April 16.

• A resident of the 15900 block of Piazza Way reported his Honda Prelude was broken into overnight. One window was shattered. He was not sure at the time of the report what was stolen from the vehicle. The report was taken on April 16 at 10:16 p.m.

• A resident of Le Sabre Court reported someone broke a window of the resident’s Mazda Protege and stole the stereo and CDs. The report was taken at 2:58 p.m. on April 16.

Battery: A Morgan Hill resident reported her sister-in-law was beaten by the resident’s brother, who may have been under the influence of drugs at the time. The resident told police there could be a baby in the home and also told them that her brother has a $50,000 warrant issued by the Sheriff’s Department for contempt of court. The report was taken on April 16 at 1:51 p.m.

Threats: A Morgan Hill resident reported a suspect that is known to her is stalking her and brandished a knife at her. The report was taken on April 16 at 2:57 p.m.

Petty theft: A Morgan Hill resident reported someone stole her wallet and checkbook from her purse while she was shopping at Target. The report was taken on April 15 at 2:12 p.m.

• Safeway reported a female suspect with three juveniles was stealing items from the store, including makeup and food. The report was taken at 12:54 p.m. on April 18.

• A resident of the Madrone Mobile Estates reported her 15-year-old son took a digital camera from the residence. She told po9lice he stole it before and it was recovered from a pawn shop. The report was taken on April 18 at 8:14 p.m.

• Mervyn’s reported three suspects brought in a large bag and began filling it with merchandise and ran away. The store recovered the merchandise. The report was taken at 1:25 p.m. on April 19.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported his wallet was stolen from Safeway after he left it at a checkout counter. The report was taken on April 20 at 9:13 p.m.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported her $300 stroller was stolen from Britton Middle School after she left it there after a baseball game two days before. The report was taken at 5:58 p.m. on April 21.

Fraud: A resident of Bayo Claros Circle told police he was “scammed” out of $4,800 on EBay for the purchase of lawn equipment. The report was taken on April 16 at 3:27 p.m.

• A resident of the 16800 block of Gallop Drive reported his retirement check was stolen from his mailbox. The suspect altered the check and tried to cash it. The report was taken at 4 p.m. on April 19.

Burglary: A resident of Oak Leaf Court reported someone broke into the resident’s garage through a window on the side garage door and stole a custom mountain bike valued at approximately $4,000-$5,000. The report was taken on April 19 at 12:52 p.m.

• A resident of the 18300 block of Carriage Drive reported she is in the process of moving out of the residence, and when she returned to the residence, the entertainment center was missing. She found no sign of forced entry. The report was taken at 3:51 p.m. on April 20.

Vandalism: A Morgan Hill resident reported pellets or bb’s were being shot at cars in the Target parking lot. At least three vehicles were hit. The report was taken on April 21 at 7:06 p.m.
