Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend passed away in peace on August 21, 2010.
He was preceded in death by his son, Ron Jr. (October 12, 2009). Devoted and loving husband to Carolyn for 55 years; wonderful father to Deborah, father-in-law to Jim, grandfather to Chase, Drake, and Riley Ann, brother to Robert. Ron was born in Croatia and proud of it! He grew up in San Pedro, attended San Pedro High School, and started his family. In 1970 his career in Traffic Signals brought him to San Jose, then moving to Hollister 12 years ago so he could play golf. Ron loved to travel, including several cruises with his wife, family, and friends. He was able to visit his home town in Croatia three times! Ron was always ready to go at a moments notice, especially if gambling was involved. He loved playing bocce and poker, telling jokes, and eating candy. Ron was a very delightful and loving man; he will truly be missed by so many family members and friends. Friends are invited to a Celebration of Ronald’s Life at 2:30 P.M. on Sunday, September 5th, at Ridgemark Golf & County Club 3800 Airline Highway, Hollister.
