A’s 7, Red Sox 6
A’s, Joe Tuttle hit a double, Ben Hughes struck our three Red Sox players in a row, and Diego Avila pitched well.
Red Sox, Jonathan Sakoi hit a double and stole second. Justen Salgado caught a pop fly and did well as pitcher. Mitchell Crowley walked and stole second, third and home, and he made a pass ball at homeplate. Brandon Duran as catcher got the ball while the runner at third was stealing home and Mitchell covered homeplate making the out. Tyler Acosta signled and stole second. Nathan Mooney made a nice stop at second base for an out at first. Jason Stuzik did well pitching. Ryan Corvase singled for an RBI.
Pinto division
Giants vs Reds
Visiting Team Pitchers: Evan Lindeman, Billy Bennett, Parker Andrews
Home Team Pitchers: Ethan Cox, Steven Facio, Sean Martin
Key Hits: Nat Aguayo, Jesse Osuna, Parker Andrews, Josh Carvalho and Hunter Kirk each hit a double for the Giants. Sean Martin hit two doubles and Steven Facio and Nino Fortuna each hit a double for the Reds.
Nice Plays: Ethan Cox, Steven Facio and Sean Martin pitched well for the Reds. Billy Bennett and Parker Andrews pitched well for the Giants. Nino Fortuna made two very good plays as catcher to tag out runners at home plate in the third inning.
Mustang division
Visitor: Angels, 8 runs on 9 hits
Home: Cubs, 9 runs on 8 hits
The Angels and the Cubs played a thrilling game on Tuesday, with the Cubs ending up on top, 9-8. The Cubs took the lead early, scoring their first run on a solo home run by Andrew Bueno. However, that was the only hit yielded in the inning by Angels’ pitcher Jayson Smith, who struck out 3. The Cubs struck again in the 2nd inning, scoring 3 runs on a walk to Mitchell Pasek, a double by Matt Cummings, and a single by Sam Raney, who then stole the circuit to score the final run. Angels’ pitcher Smith got out of the inning by pitching 2 strikeouts and by making a backpedaling catch of an infield fly ball for the 3rd out. The Angels got back into the game in the top of the 3rd, with Blake Latos and Matthew Bergantz both drawing walks and scoring on stolen bases and throwing errors by the Cubs. The Cubs added 2 runs in the bottom of the inning on a double from Bueno and a single from Kinsey. The Angels scored one in the 4th on a single by Smith,who scored on a double from James Cinnamond. The Cubs then made up the run in the bottom of the inning with singles from Cummings and Bueno, then added an insurance run in the 5th on a walk to Mike Jarvis, a sacrifice fly by Pasek and another single from Cummings. Heading into the 6th inning down 8-3, the Angels lit up the scoreboard with some great hitting and baserunning, scoring 5 runs on singles from Nick Giordano, RBI singles by Smith, Bergantz, and Kyle Bowman, and a 2-RBI single from Blake Latos to tie the score. In a thrilling finish, with the score tied in the bottom of the 6th inning, the Cubs’ Dylan Kral drew a walk, stole 2nd and 3rd and came home on a bad throw to 3rd base, just beating the throw back to the catcher to score the winning run for the Cubs.

Pinto division
Red Sox vs. Yankees
Game 6 proved to be an exciting one for this Pinto match up. Sammy Johnson, Gus Rubio and Anthony Saso pitched well for the Yankees. Brandon Puthoft played great in center field and went 3 for 3, Augie Eulo and Jeremiah Diaz shut down the right side of the field defensively, and Zachary Herscovitch played tough in left. Alejandro Torres went 4 for 4, Kyle Simmons went 4 for 4 with two doubles and Anthony Saso hit an RBI thriple in the third. For the Red Sox, Zach Riveron started and pitched well through the first. Ben Hagiperos and Patrick Muller came on strong in the second and third. Eric Dunbar and Jake Armjio played solid in the infield. Wyatt Bunt went 3 for 3, Andrew Salinas went 2 for 2, Riely Burg came up big with an RBI double in the second inning, and slugger Dante Spencer went 4 for 4 with a double in the top of the fifth. Hagiperos and Muller both went 3 for 3 with two doubles.
Bronco division
A’s vs. Rangers
The Bronco A‚s had to bring their “A” game as they faced the undefeated Rangers. The Rangers struck first with a 2 RBI double by Tyler Schimdlin. The A’s answered in the top of the second with a lead-off single by Steven Villarreal followed by RBI single by Jacob Conlan. Conlan would score on a two out single by Taylor Ricketts to tie the score at 2. The A’s scored two in the fourth on a lead off single by Tommy Nourie followed by an RBI single by Conlan. Chad Amundson drove a base hit to right to score Conlan. The A’s added 4 in the fifth when Alex Hagiperos reached after being hit by a pitch. He stole second and third before before diving home for the first run of the inning. Tyler Lerma and Franky Palmer reached on walks and then Nourie drove them in on a single up the middle. Conlan knocked in the final run with a single to right field. The Rangers came back strong in the top of the seventh when Nick Pusateri drew a two out walk and then stole second and third. B. Newton cranked an RBI triple deep to center and Schmidlin drove an RBI single scoring Newton to bring them within 3 runs. A’s closer, Tommy Nourie was able to strike out the side for the win.

Majors division
Jaguars 11 Tigers 8
The Jaguars jumped out to an early lead on a single by Katie Machado who stole second and scored on a long single to right field by Priscilla Orona. Orona then stole 3 bases, including home for the second run of the inning. In the second, Tayler Kiss-Lane walked, Emily Malech singled on a shot past third base and moved to second on a sacrifice by Ashley Garcia. Kiss-Lane and Malech both stole home. With the score 4-1, the Jaguars extended their lead with a walk to Karyn Liensdorf, a single to third base for Kayla Cisneroz and a hit for two RBIs by Madi Aguilar. The Jaguars put two more players on base and Kiss Lane came through with a great single to center field to clear the bases. The Tigers threatened with some great hitting of their own, until Alexis Bejarano made two great plays at third base and Yessi Ceja made a nice play at shortstop to shut down the inning. The Jaguars scoring ended with a double to left field by Emily Malech and a towering home run that cleared the left field fence by Priscilla Orona.
Jaguars 17 Panthers 9
The Jaguars showed they could put the runs on the board with some great hitting by the entire team. The first inning saw a line drive single to rightfield by Emily Malech followed by Yessi Ceja hitting a double down the third base line to score two runners on base. The second inning started with a single by Madi Aguilar on a one hopper to the fence in centerfield. The Jaguars scored four that inning with Aguilar stealing two bases and walks by various players. The scoring continued in the third inning as the Jaguars made the score 12-6 on a walk by Malech, a single to left center field by Katie Machado, walks to Priscilla Orona and Taylor Carson and a single up the middle by Alexis Bejarano. The fourth inning began with a long single to right field by Karyn Liensdorf. Tayler Kiss-Lane, Ashley Garcia, and Didi Lopez followed and were all hit by pitches, and Kayla Cisneroz walked. With the bases loaded, Emily Malech came through again with a double to clear the bases. Priscilla Orona had a great game pitching striking out 5 batters in three innings.
