Women’s Equality Day Breakfast, the annual celebration of women’s and girls’ achievements, will once again gather a dynamic network of hundreds of women, and the men who support their goals.

The event will be Friday, Aug. 25, 7-9am, at the Wyndham Hotel, 1350 N. First St., in San Jose. Speakers include Santa Clara County Supervisor Liz Kniss and Noni Allwood, senior director of human resources at Cisco Systems and co-chairwoman of the Women of Color Action Network.

The dance group Folklórico Nacional Juvenil will perform.

Women’s Equality Day commemorates the anniversary of women’s right to vote and honors women who have distinguished themselves as outstanding leaders in nonprofit, community, business, government or as young leaders.
