A new women’s clothing store named Violet is inviting the public to participate in its grand opening at 5pm, Saturday, Oct. 28, at 17415 Monterey Road, the site of the former BookSmart location.
The boutique aims to bring a bit of big city fashion to downtown Morgan Hill, said owner and operator Kathleen Long, who opened the business with her two Los Angeles-based daughters Christine and Jackie Bean.
Violet will carry a variety of clothing and accessories such as Hudson Jeans, Paper Denim and Cloth, City of Angles, Salt Works denim, BCBG, Junk Food, Hanky Panky, Spanx, Sweetees, Theory and Splendid.
Violet will be open Tuesday through Sunday, 11am until 7pm.
