Former Live Oak High standout Amber Hall is headed to play
basketball at San Jose State next season. Hall, a 2002 Live Oak
graduate who played at De Anza College in Cupertino the past two
seasons, has signed a letter of intent for a full scholarship to
play for the Spartans. The 6-foot-4 Hall led the Acorns to the
section playoffs in her junior and senior seasons, and earned
all-Central Coast Section honors as a senior. She averaged 12
points and 12 rebound per game during her senior campaign, and
earned all-Tri-County Athletic League first team honors.

In college, Hall led De Anza into the NorCal playoffs but missed most of her sophomore season with an injury. She returned to score 22 points in a playoff game against Merced last season. Amber graduated from De Anza College with academic honors in June.
