The Live Oak Acorns are cooking up their first home game of the year this Friday, at the newly remodeled Richert Field. I personally and cordially invite all Morgan Hillians to attend this spectacular event. Not only would you be cheering on Live Oak football, cheerleaders, songleaders and Emerald Regime, but you would also be supporting Live Oak’s Future Farmers of America and Future Business Leaders of America.
Your entrance goes towards FBLA Community service points and the FFA will benefit from any refreshments you purchase.
The Acorn football teams have had a couple of rough seasons in the past, but hopefully with the community behind them, they will excel this season. The football players are tackling the season with a lot of heart and their eyes are on the ultimate prize of winning their first game. The love and support of the town would definitely give the acorns the extra jolt that they need.
Unfortunately, the Acorns were not able to score against the Milpitas Trojans last Friday, but we are sure to score against Oak Grove this week. I encourage you to take yourself and your family out to visit the newly renovated football field.
Please come out and support the American old-aged tradition of High School Football and always remember, Morgan Hill; GO NUTS!!!
