A Halloween tradition reaches a milestone this year as haunted graveyard creators Bob Johnston and Scott Janssen celebrate the 25th year of “Terror On Lassen Way”!

The popular neighborhood Halloween display will once again transform Lassen Way in Morgan Hill into a delightfully frightful graveyard, welcoming countless brave souls for an evening of spooky sights, eerie sounds and supernatural surprises, the creators said.

For 25 years, Terror On Lassen Way has brought Halloween horror and fun to the neighborhood, featuring an entertaining collection of animated characters, creepy creatures and special effects designed to bring the graveyard to life—or perhaps, back from the dead.

Visitors can look forward to the wisecracking duo “Bones & Skully,” a thunder and lightning storm, creaking graveyard gates, corpses escaping their coffins and graves, shifting and shaking tombstones, ghosts, gargoyles, bats, skeletons and an assortment of special lighting and sound effects.

To mark this special 25th-year celebration, Johnston, Janssen and friends invite the community to join in the Halloween fun. Admission is free, making Terror On Lassen Way an opportunity to enjoy a memorable night of fright without cost.

Visit from 6:30-9:30pm Oct. 31 (weather permitting) on Lassen Way. To find the Haunted Graveyard, go west on Watsonville Road from Monterey Road; turn left onto Venetian Way and stay to the right. The entrance to the “TERROR ON LASSEN WAY” Haunted Graveyard will be on the left.

Admission is free, but the creators are asking for cash donations for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library in Santa Clara County.
