An accident on southbound U.S. 101 this morning in Morgan Hill backed up traffic to San Martin, 

Now is the time of year when many young adults are showing off such livestock as cattle, sheep, swine, and goats at fairs and competitions all over the country.  Dr. Floron Faries, professor and extension veterinarian, Texas AgriLife Extension Service, Texas A&M System, has some advice for youth to help ensure their livestock show season is a big hit.

An armed robbery, carjacking and kidnapping that supposedly occurred Feb. 10 was an elaborate lie to cover up what law enforcement now alleges is a case of felony embezzlement and filing a false police report.

The California Highway Patrol responded to a fatal traffic collision this morning at 6:52 a.m. on Northbound U.S. Highway 101 just south of Rocks Road, about 14 minutes south of Gilroy and not far from San Juan Bautista.
