Driver charged with vehicular manslaughter in Andrel Gaines crash

The San Jose driver whose car crashed into the Cadillac sedan that was carrying Andrel Gaines and four friends Nov. 6 is being charged with vehicular manslaughter and driving under the influence with great bodily injury, according to California Highway Patrol spokesman Tony Tam of the San Mateo County division.

Update: Martha Gutierrez’s body found in San Benito County

Authorities have confirmed that the body found this morning by ranchers about 50 feet off the side of the road of Highway 152 is 52-year-old Martha Gutierrez, according to Jaime Rios of the California Highway Patrol.
