HONORS: Students complete senior project, TheraPE: Santa Clara University graduating bioengineering seniors Sarah van Keulen (St. Catherine/Presentation), Sofia Pour and Kristi Hockenson spent a year on their senior engineering project, TheraPE, a new type of pulmonary embolectomy device. TheraPE was designed and developed by the seniors to better remove blood clots from the heart, is patent pending and won first place at SCU’s annual senior engineering competition.
