Authorities responded to a single-vehicle traffic accident that slowed traffic on U.S. 101 Friday afternoon, with minor injuries reported. 

BAKERSFIELD – Paul Fox and Nikko Villarreal have led Gilroy High’s wrestling team all season.

The Gilroy Police Department arrested a suspected burglar on the 6400 block of Barron Place in Gilroy on Friday. GPD were notified of an intruder entering the house at 10:15 a.m. by a concerned neighbor, said Gilroy Police Sgt. Daniel Castaneda. GPD officers and a SWAT team surrounded the house and ordered the suspect to leave the property.

    DEAR ABBY: I'm convinced my father's wife killed him and I don't know where to turn. He had fought complications from quadruple bypass surgery for a few years, and had been in hospice for months prior to his death. My siblings and I didn't put all the pieces together until afterward.
