Adamo becomes member of President’s Circle

Debbie Adamo, sales associate with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Morgan Hill office, earned membership into the International President’s Circle. Adamo has been a Realtor with Coldwell Banker since January 2005. From 2007 on, she has earned several honors, including Morgan Hill Realtor of the Year in 2011. In 2011, she was the top agent in the Morgan Hill office, earning President’s Elite status. She continues to be one of the top agents in all of South County.

MHPD takes out three burglary suspects

With the assistance of some observant residents in the neighborhood surrounding Morgan Hill Library, the Morgan Hill Police Department was able to put a stop to a recent three-week string of increased residential burglaries.

DEAR ABBY: I'm responding to your request for comments about the letter from "Happily Single" (Feb. 13) and whether a divorce would be the first course of action upon winning the lottery. In a community-property state, a divorce AFTER winning wouldn't legally protect you from having to share the spoils with your soon-to-be (and probably now bitter) ex-spouse.

County staff propose $4.6 billion budget for 2014

Santa Clara County staff proposed a $4.6 billion county budget for fiscal year 2014 last week that will rely on outside funding sources, new voter-approved revenues and public union concessions in order to close a $67 million shortfall, County staff said.
